The bible teaches us that receiving the forgiveness of our sins and entering a personal relationship with God is not complicated, nor is it earned, but is simply received. At Southport Church our people have heard this over and over again, that Jesus is the only way to enter a relationship with God and that receiving Jesus Christ and the salvation he provided for everyone, is as simple as A B C.

A - Admit that you are sinful and in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", Romans 3:23. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord", Romans 6:23.

B - Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he died on the cross for you to to forgive you of your sins and rose from the grave to give you new life. "That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved", Romans 10:9.

C - Commit your way to him. "Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him and he will do this...", Psalm 37:5.

If you would like to recieve the forgiveness of your sins and enter a personal relationship with God pray this prayer: "Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and in need of your saving grace. I believe that you died on the cross to forgive me of my sins and that God raised you from the dead to give me new life. I accept your love for me and commit my life completely to you. Amen!
